Thanksgiving Centerpiece

I know that most of us have moved on to Christmas decorating by now, but before we bid farewell to November, I wanted to post a picture of a lovely centerpiece we created for Thanksgiving. I love the natural feel that it gives. It also features unique flowers with bi-colored tulips and calla lilies. I hope that all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Winter is Here

Phew, what a week! Sorry about the blogging delays, the classrooms we use for flower classes just got their power back Monday and then we were hit with a snowstorm last night. I guess winter is here with a vengeance. But, it still can be very beautiful. To celebrate its arrival, I thought we'd take a look at some of the gorgeous flowers that grow in the cold, dark days of winter. These include snowdrops, winter aconite, and witch hazel. Enjoy!

Flowering Candelabra Centerpiece

Isn't this just beautiful?  Nothing is more romantic than flowers and candlelight.  I also love that the candelabra adds height to the flower arrangement and almost acts as a trellis for climbing flowers.  To learn how to create this beautiful centerpiece, please visit L'Ecole Des Fleurs to see our calendar.
